Centered on the core technique of "underglaze blue outlining border decorations + iron red painting dragon motifs," it represents the popular "blue-and-white iron red glazed" craftsmanship in the early Qing Dynasty (Kangxi and Yongzheng reigns). The underglaze blue exhibits a rich and stable hue (characteristic of Kangxi's "emerald blue"), while the iron red glaze features a bright color (Yongzheng's iron red is more delicate). As a high-quality category of imperial kilns in the early Qing Dynasty, intact plum vases with dragon motifs are relatively scarce. It is a rare treasure in the world.
Shoulder / near the foot: the blue-and-white banana leaf motifs on the shoulder and blue-and-white key fret patterns near the foot are standard border decorations of imperial kilns in the early Qing Dynasty. With neat and regular lines, they serve to define decorative areas and balance the visual composition.
Neck: small blue-and-white dragon ornaments. The small blue-and-white dragon motifs on the neck echo the main dragon pattern on the vase body, enhancing the integrity of the "dragon motif" theme.
