Famille rose appreciation vase (shangping) with Magu presenting birthday blessings motif, Qianlong Qing dynasty(1736-1795)

Adopting the composite craftsmanship of "trailed carving + famille rose" (some high-quality pieces feature fine trailed carving patterns on the body), it boasts rich and magnificent colors, round and plump facial features of figures, and delicate color gradients on the clothing patterns (based on opaque white).

Body and glaze: the body is fine and white ("glutinous rice paste body"), and the glaze surface is smooth and creamy like fat. Most base marks are the six-character seal script official kiln mark "Made in the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty."

主纹饰为"麻姑持寿桃/花枝+寿星+瑞鹿”,搭配祥云、花卉,寓意“福寿双全、福禄绵长”,是乾隆朝宫廷/贵族陈设瓷的常见吉祥题材;

Main patterns: "Magu holding a peach of immortality / flower branch + God of Longevity with auspicious deer," paired with auspicious clouds and flowers, implying "double blessings of longevity and prosperity, and endless blessings of fortune and emoluments" — a common auspicious theme for court / noble display porcelain during the Qianlong reign.

The pattern composition is full and the colors are magnificent, conforming to the "luxurious and intricate" aesthetic style of the Qianlong period.
