An iconic masterpiece of Yongzheng signature court kilns, adopting the pinnacle famille rose (soft color) craftsmanship of the Yongzheng period: based on opaque white, the peach patterns feature natural gradation from pale pink to deep red, with delicate and soft layers.
Artistic value: integrating Yongzheng's famille rose craftsmanship, original composition, and imperial auspicious meanings, it is one of the pinnacle masterpieces of Qing Dynasty porcelain art with extremely rare survival quantity (only dozens of pieces worldwide).
Eight peach patterns: the bowl's body is painted with 8 plump peach patterns ("nine" being the ultimate yang number in traditional Chinese numerology). Paired with emerald green branches and leaves, they imply "longevity, health, and endless blessings of longevity and prosperity." Some high-quality pieces secretly feature "bat patterns" (a homophone for "fu" meaning blessing), forming the combination of "double blessings of longevity and prosperity" — a typical decorative pattern on imperial birthday porcelain during the Yongzheng reign.
