Porcelain Introduction: this plum vase features a typical Yuan Dynasty plum vase shape with a small mouth, short neck, full shoulders, a tapering belly, and a ring foot. Its lines are smooth, plump, and heavy, with a natural transition from the shoulders to the belly, and a slender, restrained lower belly. The overall proportions are well-balanced, fully embodying the calm and stable charm of large-sized porcelain vases from the Yuan Dynasty. The outer side of the vase mouth is painted with scroll patterns, and the neck is decorated with openwork panels of interlocking floral patterns, with graceful and agile lines. The main body of the vase takes cloud-dragon patterns as the core decoration: the dragon figures are vigorous in posture, with powerful claws and meticulously carved scales, surrounded by auspicious cloud patterns. The blue-and-white color is rich and bright, showing the typical rust spots and blurring effects of Su Ma Li Qing pigment. The bold and free brushwork vividly demonstrates the majesty and dominance of dragon patterns in the Yuan Dynasty. The area near the foot is adorned with deformed lotus petal patterns, forming a hierarchical echo with the upper decorations. The overall composition is intricate yet not chaotic, with clear distinction between primary and secondary elements.

According to collection statistics, the number of existing complete pieces of similar Yuan dynasty blue-and-white plum vases with dragon patterns is extremely rare. There are only about a dozen verifiable complete pieces worldwide, which are mainly divided into two categories: museum collections and privately passed-down pieces.Complete museum-collected pieces: There are about 8-10 pieces, collected in top domestic and foreign cultural and museum institutions such as the Palace Museum, Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Museum, the British Museum in the UK, and Topkapi Palace in Turkey. All of them are national treasure-level cultural relics unearthed from archaeological excavations or passed down through generations, and are prohibited from circulation.

Private/circulating pieces: there are fewer than 5 complete Yuan dynasty blue-and-white plum vases with dragon patterns passed down among the people, most of which are in overseas private collections. Those appearing in the auction market are mostly fragments, repaired pieces or those missing lids. There are about more than 20 such artifacts, most of which are pieced and repaired, with extremely low integrity. This "Yuan Dynasty Blue-and-White Plum Vase with Cloud and Dragon Patterns" was purchased by Jincheng International Group at a high price from an antique dealer in Hong Kong in May 2025, and it belongs to an overseas private collection that has been returned to Hong Kong.

收藏价值:全球完整器仅十余件,馆藏占比超七成,流通市场中完整器近乎绝迹,残件或修复件也属拍场焦点,稀缺性奠定了其顶级收藏地位。
