White glazed long-necked vase, Yongzheng period, Qing Dynasty(1723-1735)

White glazed long-necked vase from the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty is a representative of the "plain and elegant" style among monochromatic glazed porcelain of all dynasties. With its uniform glaze color, dense body, and the mark "Great Qing Yongzheng Reign," it is an exquisite work of monochromatic glazed porcelain from the Qing imperial kilns, with relatively high collection value.

As a "white glazed long-necked vase," it is a physical witness to the integration of porcelain-making craftsmanship of successive dynasties and the "plain aesthetic."

No painted decorations: the entire body is only covered with white glaze, with the warm and smooth texture of the glaze itself serving as the "decoration," implicitly embodying the meaning of "pure and flawless, elegant and noble."

Hidden decorations: if it is Yongle sweet white glaze, there are usually incised interlocking lotus / dragon and phoenix patterns under the glaze (visible only when held against light), implying the blessing of "continuous auspiciousness."
